about

The basic bed for this track was recorded in 1981, when the early synth was in my old bedroom at my parent's house, and I was living there again for some months after returning from CERN in Geneva and working on my PhD thesis. This features the Gibson Organ running through a distortion effect on the modular, and a digital keyboard voice on the modular (coming off my pseudo-random generator run at audio frequency), as well as a simple bass/percussion sequence - I only had the original 37-module square cabinet at the time. I overdubbed a MiniMoog lead onto it in my Zurich apartment in 1983, then added some other effects a year or so later.
