about

I made this in my Newton living room (the cover photo was probably taken during these sessions). No MIDI sequencer here - everything was overdubbed and played directly. The babbling voice clip came from some religious TV program I randomly ran into and sampled on my Casio SK-1 (which was totally interfaced into my modular system) - the SK-1 also did the rhythm, augmented by the modular. It was perhaps weakly influenced by Front-242.
