about

Recorded Live at the Music|Machines Symposium at the MIT Media Lab, February 2011 - an event celebrating 50 years of computer music at MIT that I organized with my friend and colleague Tod Machover. This synth was installed in a room adjacent to the theater throughout the event, and this piece was running live there in a quad mix. I had just returned from my first trip to India some days before I composed this patch, hence one might detect a subtle influence here.
